We are one day away from the TWO month mark and I can hardly believe it.  I feel like we just got engaged yesterday! Wedding planning has been everything I dreamed of and more. I’m so thankful for my family who has helped make balancing planning while being in one of the hardest semesters of hygiene school seem doable! I asked Chas a few days ago what his favorite part about the whole process has been and besides being all sentimental and writing his letters to his groomsmen, his next answer was registering! I honestly didn’t realize he would love it as much as he did, but let me tell ya, the guy had a field day. It was so nice of them to give us the obnoxiously loud clicker because I always knew where Chas was. However, I may or may not have switched a few things around after we finished (shhh don’t tell him).
When it comes to registering, Macy’s is like your one stop shop. From bedding, bath, home decor, luggage (more on that coming soon!), and kitchen supplies you have everything you need in one place. And with it being such a popular retailer, your wedding guests are sure to find you the perfect present. Since I need all the help I can get in the cooking department, I’m sharing some of the kitchen items we’ve registered for so Chas and I survive…

1. A Good Set of Knives

One of the things many of my married friends have suggested registering for are good knives. This 10-piece set has everything you need for a reasonable price.

2. White Dinnerware

When thinking about dinnerware, it was a no brainer for me to go with white. It will always match your kitchen and you can add fun colors for every holiday with napkins, flowers, and pretty decor.

3. Gold Plated Silverware

I’ve seen a lot of gold and rose gold silverware lately as I’ve been looking at table arrangements for the wedding and I’m loving it! I think it’s a nice change to the silver and still looks just as elegant.

4. Kitchen Aid Ice Cream Maker Attachment

Last, but most definitely not least, an ice. cream. maker. Like every newly engaged couple we registered for a Kitchen Aid, and then when I saw there was an ice cream maker attachmentI got even more excited! I’m a fan of vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles (mine & Chas’s favorite) for dinner.
You can create your own Macy’s wedding registry here. Please share if you know of any other things we can’t live without?! We’re all ears!
bloom & grow forever,
Madeline Rose
